Featuring members of such seminal rock bands as King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Yes and the Buggles, ASIA has been widely known as a rock band able to mix indulgent rock and roll instrumentals with a pop sensibility. Now 30 years after the release of their self-titled debut album, which featured the hit “Heat of the Moment,” the legendary British classic rock band returns with a brand new studio album, a 30th Anniversary edition of their debut album, two DVDs, and a world tour that includes the UK, Japan, Canada and America.

“We are very pleased and excited to be kicking off the 2012 World Tour at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with the event being a significant occasion in ASIA’s 2012 calendar,” said John Wetton.

The band’s latest record, XXX (pronounced Triple X), was released July 3 on Frontiers Records and has been hailed as ASIA’s best album since its classic early 80s rock releases, which include Alpha and Astra. Later this fall, the band will release Resonance, a DVD concert film of the group’s 2010 Omega World Tour, captured live in Switzerland. In addition, ASIA will release a collector’s edition box set based on ASIA’s legendary 1982 eponymous debut album. The 30th anniversary edition will feature a re-mastered copy of the album, live rare tracks, a DVD of the new band documentary, ASIA – 30 Years On, and more.
