Frontiers Music SRL Announces the Signing of Asia
Frontiers proudly welcomes iconic rock supergroup ASIA—kicking off a powerful new chapter in their 45-year legacy.
Geoff Downes, a founding member, returns with an electrifying new lineup:
- Virgil Donati (drums)
- John Mitchell (guitar)
- Harry Whitley (vocals/bass)
“This is very much a homecoming for the band,” says Downes. “We’re entering an exciting new chapter with live albums, DVDs, and a brand-new studio album set for 2026. Watch this space!”

Born in 1982, Asia quickly became a global sensation with hits like “Heat Of The Moment” and “Only Time Will Tell.”
Asia has entertained and delighted a multitude of audiences over the last forty years. Some of the world’s greatest musicians have taken up the Asia baton during that time. However, Geoff Downes believes that time is right to bring a fresh, new-looking Asia out into the light. The Year of the Dragon foretells good fortune, abundance and prosperity. The Dragon blessed 1982, the year Asia was first unleashed into the world—and now the journey has come full circle. Time for the dragon to take flight once more.
Asia to Play at Trading Boundaries in April 2025
Geoff, Virgil, John and Harry are pleased to announce Asia’s 3 dates at Trading Boundaries on April 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2025. They will be playing the albums ASIA, on the 10th, ALPHA on the 11th and ASTRA on the 12th, including other hits on each day.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Musician, songwriter, singer and “top bloke” (as Geoff Downes describes him), John Wetton lived a truly extraordinary life. In this book some seventy-plus people who knew and worked with John, from Family, King Crimson, Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash, Roxy Music, U.K., Asia, the John Wetton solo band and beyond, pay tribute to that fact. Other contributors hail from the music industry and have compelling tributes to pay, equal to those from friends who knew John for decades, and his family.
Among the stories of friendship, music and sometimes craziness are reflections on what made John Wetton such an unforgettable man. His friends and family do not steer clear of his problems but rather explain the why, how, and triumph over them in honest and touching recollections. Scattered among the stories are personal and classic photos of John at work and play which add to the celebration of An Extraordinary Life.
